Competitive Junior Match Play (UTR 7-11+) in Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Florida

We help organize match play for competitive tennis juniors and visiting tournament players across the area. This is a direct community connection effort, not a paid academy referral program. Requests are reviewed confidentially, and if we can match you with the right person, we will text you with time and court details.

Built by Alex Delray Tennis, this match-play network is trusted by competitive junior players and families in Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach.

Best fit: serious tennis juniors typically around UTR 7-11+, including higher UTR players when fit and availability align. If you’re local or visiting South Florida (West Palm Beach / Delray / Boca) for tournaments, we can also arrange warm-up hits before match day or during your pre-tournament week.

Families often reach out when a player feels stuck in match results, needs reliable reps this week, or is traveling and wants a trusted local hitting partner.

We understand many local players already have coaches, and they are always welcome to come with their own coach. For visiting players, if you need pre-tournament coaching, you can submit a Private ATP/WTA Coach Request, and we can help connect you with trusted local coaches who string with us regularly. Requests are reviewed manually and confirmed by text based on availability and fit (training goal, surface, and schedule).

When submitting through Square, the time slot is just a placeholder to submit your request details. Please add the player’s Name, current UTR, age, and any notes.

This network grew from families and players asking for reliable, level-appropriate match play when finding the right connection feels awkward. We work with many competitive local and visiting juniors, so we can often connect players directly and quickly for quality matches. Some juniors ask us in person while we're stringing for them, and you can also request match play online by contacting us. We are not paid to push matches. We are simply here to help local and visiting juniors connect directly for quality match play whenever we can.

Quick Summary for Players, Parents & Coaches

Competitive Improvement & Training

Many families use this network when they want structured, match-level reps to improve tournament performance. Playing strong, level-appropriate opponents helps serious players adapt to pace, solve problems under pressure, and make better point-by-point decisions. These reps build match confidence that carries into tournament play. If additional support is needed, coaching help is available by request through trusted ATP/WTA-experience coaches.

For Visiting Tournament Players

Coming to South Florida for a winter training block or tournament week? This page is built for both local juniors and travelers from the Northeast (NY/NJ/CT/RI/MA/NH), the Midwest (Michigan and Chicago area), other US states, and international academies who need competitive, level-appropriate reps fast.

We focus on tournament tune-up sets and warm-up hits in Delray Beach and Boca Raton using trusted local courts, including public and private court options across the area when scheduling allows.

If you are staying in Delray, Boca, Boynton, West Palm, or Palm Beach Gardens, include that in your request so we can match court area and timing faster.

Looking for Verified UTR outcomes? These sessions are generally unverified practice matches designed to help players prepare for verified events and tournament play.

How It Works

  1. Submit a request using the scheduling system.
Include: player name, age, current UTR, and where you’re located. If you need a court, we will let you know the location. If you have your own courts, please let us know during booking time.
  2. We review & match.
All matches are based on UTR, age, availability, and match goals (full sets vs short sets, tiebreak format, etc.). If we find a match, we’ll update you by text. Most requests receive a response within 24 hours.
  3. Confirmation by text.
Final details include: player matchup, time, and court plan.

All match play requests are pre-approved by both players to protect quality and ensure competitive balance.

Visitor & Tournament Player FAQ

Do you help players traveling for Orange Bowl, Eddie Herr, or other Florida events?

Yes. We are active during major tournament windows and can often arrange pre-tournament warm-up sets if we have the right fit that week.

Can we find matches if we are in Delray/Boca for only one week?

Usually yes. We run a fast-response network and often coordinate a match window within 24-48 hours when availability lines up.

Do these sessions count as Verified UTR matches?

No. These are typically unverified practice sets and tune-up hits, ideal for players preparing for Verified UTR tournaments and official events.

Can you coordinate match play and stringing together?

Yes. Many visiting players coordinate stringing service and match-play requests in the same week. Perfect stringing alone will not win a match, but unprepared equipment can absolutely cost critical points in big moments. Our goal is to make sure your racquet setup is optimized for your game and ready for tournament pressure.

FAQ

Is match play really free?

Yes—match play and warm-up hit matching are free when we can match you with a compatible player. You only pay for coaching if a coach is requested and confirmed.

Does the time I choose in the request form matter?

No. The time slot is just a placeholder to submit your request details. Final time and court details are confirmed by text once both players approve.

Why use this network instead of finding partners on our own?

We work with many competitive local and visiting juniors, so matching is usually faster, more level-appropriate, and less awkward than cold outreach. We also help connect players who might not meet otherwise because of different schedules or travel patterns.

How fast do you usually reply to a request?

Most requests receive a response within 24 hours. If we find a fit, we confirm details by text.

Can you help if my player is local but not getting enough competitive reps?

Yes. Many local families reach out when match confidence or results feel stuck. We focus on finding level-appropriate sets and tiebreak reps based on the player’s current goals and availability.

Can this help with tennis improvement and match confidence?

Yes. Competitive match play with strong, level-appropriate opponents helps players adapt to pace, improve point construction, and make better decisions under pressure. These reps often improve tournament readiness and match confidence. Coaching help is available by request when additional support is needed.

Who is this match-play network best suited for?

This network is best suited for competitive junior players preparing for serious match play and tournament windows. If a player is earlier in development, this specific page may not be the right fit yet.

Do the Match Play and Coach buttons use different forms?

Both top buttons use the same request form. We route your request based on whether you want player matching or coach help.

Are you paid to push matches?

No. We are not paid to push matches. We are simply here to help local and visiting juniors connect directly for quality match play whenever we can.

What age and rating range is most common in your network?

Most players in our network are typically ages 12-17 and around UTR 7-11+. This is a common range, not a strict rule. Every request is reviewed case-by-case based on fit and availability.

Can local players bring their own coach, and can visiting players get pre-tournament coaching help?

Yes. Local players are welcome to come with their own coach. Visiting players can request pre-tournament coaching, and we can help connect them with trusted local coaches who string with us regularly.

Can you help connect us with ATP/WTA-experience coaches if needed?

Yes. If you request coaching support, we can try to connect you with trusted ATP/WTA-experience coaches in our local network who also string with us. Connections are based on availability, fit, and your training goals.

Is this an academy match-play program with required coaching fees?

No. This is a community match-play connection service to help juniors and families find level-appropriate partners. Match-play matching is free when a fit is available. Coaching is optional and only by request.
